I started working with Julie with an intention to heal a sexual block I faced-a rigid defence against intimacy which I had been suffering with for 6 years.  This block affected my ability to feel sexual, enjoy any kind of intimacy and feel alive within myself. Julie Maria is an expert in tailoring her work to where her clients are in that particular moment- we went deep on the days that I had capacity to go deep, we did incredible work addressing some rigid mindsets on the days I needed to stay more with the mental side of things and we worked extensively on my body, exploring different physical symptoms I experienced. This body work was so effective, even though we were working on zoom. I also loved that Julie Maria didn't push any particular modality or style on me, something I have noticed other practitioners doing who have trained in one particular way.  She is truly so skilled and gifted in so many areas that she could intuitively select and use the approach most beneficial to me in that moment.
